Below is an example of soft costs for two projects. Soft Costs are all of the costs leading up to construction, but not including the construction budget. These are the permit fees, the consultant fees, and other pre-development fees such as the cost to obtain a survey, arborist report, etc.

Project - Residential remodel (full gut) & Addition totaling 2760 sf.

Construction budget: approx. 1.5 million.

Project quality - high end. Excellent builder selected with high end finishes.
